Complimentary to our VW roots, Iain approached Kustom Interiors to find a solution to his quest to turn his Vito into a camper. Taking our standard 3/4 unit as the inspiration, providing space for storage, fridge, sink/drainer and cooker/grill. Our new rock n roll beds bolted straight into place.

After visiting our stand at Tatton park, James and Emma decided upon our 3/4 unit as the basis for their Split Screen Camper interior. We customised our unit to fit their fridge, manufactured a custom rear overhead unit and engine bay wardrobe unit. Thank you Emma & James for your kind words and your pictures

Chris was after a new set of Buddy seats, and bed boards to renew the look of his interior. Made to the original size and shape so that Chris’ seats and foam would fit

Emma wanted something very different for her T4, our custom built wardrobe unit with additional cubby storage, very similar to our VW Bay window rear wardrobe.

“valerie” gets a new interior

Lizzy Contacted us earlier this year, with a huge task and a very short timescale.

Having quickly decided on the style of interior, we set to work to meet their up coming deadline. I’m pleased to say that as with all of our projects timescales are promised and met, and this was no exception

Duo Splitscreen TinTop Camper

Brazillian Import Splitscreen with Custom Bulkhead...Courtesy of Phil at Bullibus

Phil at Bullibus commissoned us to come up with a design based upon our 3/4 unit that would fit along the bulkhead, with no walkthrough this unit provided space for a sink (optional), cooker and a 36ltr cooler.

We incorporated the swing and fold table that swings and locks into place, ideal for eating or the kids when the sun isnt shining. Finished with a clear lacquer.

Red Bay...Transformation

Mark designed the interior to exactly his requirements, a full height wardrobe and storage unit stretching back to the rear of the van, and over the engine bay. A kustom unit to house his fridge, cooker and sink with an excellent feature a built in bottle opener...

A buddy seat finishes the design, even Sherry, seems content with her new camper !!! Up front Mark customised a cream leather bench seat from a Jag to use as his front and passenger drivers seat

As we all find with our Vw’s is that once you start working on your van it becomes a life journey. Laurence has done a wonderful job of renovating his Type 2. A colour co-ordinated van, finished in Yellow and Blue - a fresh looking interior with those finishing touches.

Ralph & Eve’s Splitscreen

Ralph & Eve visited us at several shows before deciding on a complete Kustom Interior.

These photos show the initial planning stages before the complete interior is installed. We have designed custom door cabinet with a twin burner, a smaller side unit to fit along side the 3/4 unit to house the sink and fridge unit.

To finish off a overhead unit is being fitted to provide more storage.

Then incorporating our rear engine bay unit, the spare tire will be placed on the roof to give more bed space. To provide absolute comfort Ralph and Eve have plumped for the Memory foam option for their new rock n roll bed.

Camper Interior for T5 - Sportline

Complete kustom build for this t5 sportline. The design has taken into account Matt & Karens requirements for storage of Kite boarding equipment, cooking and washing facilities along with adequate storage for wet gear and dry clothing.

In addition the custom bed provides somewhere to sleep and again provides additional storage and room for a portaloo. Further photos to be added with the foam and seating in place....watch this space
