Our project page differs slightly from our gallery pages, as we have included a small number of examples of our interiors in the clients camper vans.   Upholstery fitting and paintwork have been carried out by the customers themselves (unless stated)

T5 (T28/T30/ VW Sportline) Camper Interior

As we all find with our Vw’s is that once you start working on your van it becomes a life journey.  Laurence has done a wonderful job of renovating his Type 2.  A colour co-ordinated van, finished in Yellow and Blue - a fresh looking interior with those finishing touches.

This green machine, sports Grass Lino which compliments the interior beautifully.  The interior comprises, Kustom cooker and sink unit and side seat along with an overhead locker and front bed board.
 
Shaun & Lisa called to let us know that they had won awards at Dubfreeze and that they hope to be featured in David Eccles new VW publication on VW interiors - well done both of you for all the hard work you’ve put in
Single sliding Bay with full bulkhead

This orange bay has no walkthrough and wanted to uterlise this space for stroage and appliances.  Ban also wanted a full width rock and roll bed, so we designed a layout to fit the appliances that ben wanted.

Here we have a custom 3/4 unit made to fit with a slightly larger than average bed, coloured coded to match Phil’s van
 
The twin colours work well with the overall design and the use of the same colour for the removable table and tripod leg uses the colours well.  Thanks Phil for the pictures.
Mary & Ben’s T4 Caravelle

Converting a T4 caravelle or Panel Van is becoming more popular.  Mary contacted Kustom Interiors back in June 2006 to discuss ideas for her Caravelle.  We took these ideas and manufactured a unit that would fit alongside her custom T4 Bed, which had been expertly upholstered.
 
We provided a sink and cooker space with space for her 3 way fridge, along with a wardrobe area at the back for storage.
 
We were very impressed by the very friendly, flexible and honest advice and sales.The cupboards were designed taking our needs in to account and have been finished to a very high standard. Everyone always asks to have a look in the van when they see us out and about! We don't hesitate to recommend you! Mary & Ben
Ex AA T4 Panel gets a Kustom Job
Nick and Ali’s T4 used to be an ex AA van - what a transformation with this great looking paint job, alloys that look a treat and side  blacked out windows.
 
We’ve manufactured a unit, made to measure to sit over the wheelarch which incorporates  a smev sink unit and twin burner with grill - an excellent unit for those weekends away and day trips out & about.

Ralph & Eve’s Splitscreen
Ralph & Eve visited us at several shows before deciding on a complete Kustom Interior.
 
These photos show the initial planning stages before the complete interior is installed.  We have designed custom door cabinet with a twin burner, a smaller side unit to fit along side the 3/4 unit to house the sink and fridge unit.  
To finish off a overhead unit is being fitted to provide more storage.
 
Then incorporating our rear engine bay unit, the spare tire will be placed on the roof to give more bed space.  To provide absolute comfort Ralph and Eve have plumped for the Memory foam option for their new rock n roll bed.

Camper Interior for T5 - Sportline

Complete kustom build for this t5 sportline.  The design has taken into account Matt & Karens requirements for storage of Kite boarding equipment, cooking and washing facilities along with adequate storage for wet gear and dry clothing.  
 
In addition the custom bed provides somewhere to sleep and again provides additional storage and room for a portaloo.  Further photos to be added with the foam and seating in place....watch this space
o greater compliment can be received than a recommendation from a client Matt & Karen have kindly recommended us to their Kite Surfer mates and we have to date, completed two further commissions based upon the T5 conversion and their recommendations. Thanks Guys, really appreciated

Courtesy of J&A.  A vito with a difference.  This client needed seatbelts fitting and matching upholstery with their front seats.
 
The layout with swivel front seats enables these to make up two single beds or slide the seating over and makes a double bed.
 
With two custom rear units to house a smev glass topped cooker and storage for gas bottle and camping gear.

T3 wins at Haynes and Bristol Volksfest with KI interior
Thanks to Eddie for the pictures of his Kustom Interiors 3/4 unit and T25 rear wardrobe and portaloo buddy box.  Next stage is a custom overhead unit going above the 3/4 unit.
 
Eddie has won awards at Haynes and Bristol Volksfest, already this year with his van and interior!!

Ceri and her husband to be wanted to turn their Transporter into a camper van they could use to go on Honeymoon and use when they go Snow boarding, so based upon our 3/4 unit, the design was customised to incorporate an extended rear storage area - level rather than having the rear wardrobe

Rebecca wanted storage for her Wind surfin poles and kit, so we designed an interior around her leisure requirements.
 
Room for both her camping requirements and slide in storage for her poles.  Includes the new 8800 Smev series sink and hob with glass top.  Rock n roll bed awaiting upholstery.
